Author Coaching
It may be that you have an idea for a book, but don’t know where to start or how to discipline yourself to write an entire book. We have people that can help you get started and turn that idea into a manuscript that is ready to publish.
Manuscript Editing
Every author needs an editor. Even top-selling authors need an editor. The editing you need may be simple proofreading to catch typos. Or, you may need help developing the organization and flow of the content. We can help you determine what you need and then pair you with an editor to get the job done.
Graphic Design
Your book will need to “look good” as well as “read good.” This includes both the interior as well as the cover. We have professional graphic designers who can create a cover you’ll be proud of and layout the interior so it complements the content.
Branding
As an author, you may be planning to write other books. You may wish to speak on the topics about which you are writing. You may, in fact, need to brand YOURSELF in addition to branding your book. This kind of branding requires careful consideration and forethought. We do that, too!
Web Site Creation
Depending on your ambitions, you may eventually wish to have a web site that represents who you are and all you do. Creating and managing a web site can be complex and challenging, especially if your real passion is writing. We’re able to help you do everything from acquiring the right domain to managing the posting of new content.
Social Media Management
The world of social media is daunting and ever-changing. But, if you plan to write new content on a regular basis, you probably need to think about a social media strategy that works for you. Which platforms should you consider? How often should you post content? We can help you develop a strategy that is affordable and impactful.
Marketing
We need to be honest. Publishing a book is not terribly difficult and not hugely expensive. Selling that book, however, can be difficult, frustrating, and VERY expensive. There are, however, ways to market your book so people will buy it. We can help you do this, but you need to be prepared to spend money beyond the cost of publishing. Talking about this, however, won’t cost you anything.
